Winter visitors to this chalet in Auron, a resort in the largest ski area in the Southern Alps, can look forward to great snow cover. The resort has 135km of slopes and is less than an hour from Isola 2000.
The region is a great destination in all seasons, as it offers many outdoor activities throughout the year. You can also drive to the Mediterranean coast in less than two hours.
When you return from an exciting day in the mountains, you will be delighted to relax and unwind in the sauna and Nordic bath at Chalet L'Evidence.
About the property…
Chalet L'Evidence is a three-storey chalet combining rustic charm and modern comfort. You will enjoy plenty of space for up to 10 guests (including nine adults), with four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The ground floor has a ski room with a heated boot warmer, as well as a walk-in shower and separate toilet. This is also where you'll find the sauna where you can relax at the end of the day. The first double bedroom is on this level, with an en-suite bathroom with bath and toilet. There's a cinema room with a large screen and comfortable sofas, as well as a TV room with a double sofa bed, which can be used as an extra bedroom. A large furnished terrace surrounds the entrance.
The first floor is taken up by the spacious living area, with a large furnished terrace on three sides. There's a seating area with armchairs and sofas around the fireplace and television. The well-equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar and is open to a dining table surrounded by benches. There's another dining table on the terrace, as well as sunbeds and a Nordic bath.
On the second floor, you will find three more bedrooms, including two double rooms which open onto the balcony. One of them has its own bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet and double washbasin. The other room shares a bathroom with a charming bunk room for four children.
On the practical side, you’ll find a washing machine and tumble dryer in the cinema room. There are several outdoor parking spaces in front of Chalet L'Evidence.
About the area…
Auron is a village in the Southern Alps, overlooking the Mercantour countryside. Its wood and stone chalets are scattered across the hills above Saint-Étienne-de-Tinée, about 1.5 hours from Nice and close to Isola 2000. Auron attracts families and fans of outdoor sports, who enjoy its pedestrianised square, shops and restaurants, as well as its warm atmosphere that invites you to discover this wonderful area.
In winter, Auron offers a vast ski area with 135km of slopes spread across four sectors, including long runs, technical sections, Nordic areas and fun zones. Snowshoeing, winter hiking, skating and snowmobile or dog sled rides add to the varied activities in this typical Alpine area.
During the rest of the year, hiking trails starting from Auron lead to the Mercantour lakes and high-altitude meadows. There are opportunities to fish or relax on the Tinée river. You can fill your days with mountain biking, road cycling, climbing, trail running and family walks, or visit the leisure park and aquatic centre.

That's the first thought that comes to mind! This beautiful chalet is in one of the most beautiful resorts in the Southern Alps, perched on a hill offering 360-degree views of the slopes, mountains, greenery and resort below.
How is it possible to be so lucky as to enjoy this little piece of paradise for a suspended moment? Yes, the environment is wonderful and promises a whole host of outdoor activities, but a few days' retreat indoors is also worth considering.
What about these three floors? A table football? A sauna? A good book by the fire? Some quiet time in your room? Hot chocolate on the terrace? A lively discussion at the wooden table or a family board game?
As I said, there's something for everyone!

We particularly like the variety of spaces at this chalet. The wellness area, with a sauna and an outdoor Nordic bath, is the perfect place to relax after an active day.
In the evening, you can get together to watch a film in the cinema room or curl up in front of the fire in the spacious living area.
In summer, you’re likely to spend your time on the terraces or balconies. This constant connection with the outdoors is what gives Chalet L'Evidence its charm.
The top-floor bedrooms are particularly cosy, especially the bunk room which is designed for four children or teenagers. The chalet also has a good ratio of bedrooms to bathrooms/toilets.

We designed Chalet L’Evidence as a place where families could make the most of the mountains. Everything has been planned so that you can enjoy wonderful moments together: breakfasts facing the peaks, late afternoons in the sauna or Nordic bath, movie nights, laughter over a good meal, and those precious moments of silence when the mountains set the pace.
We are passionate about sport and wanted the chalet to reflect this. The hiking and biking trails start at the door, the slopes are just a few minutes away, and each season offers new adventures: hiking, skiing, trail running, cycling, snowshoeing..
L'Evidence has been designed for those who love to move, push themselves, breathe and rediscover the energy that everyday life sometimes stifles.
But it is also a comfortable and welcoming retreat where everyone can find their own space. Children explore, teenagers enjoy their own areas, parents unwind, and grandparents enjoy the atmosphere! Everything comes together to create lasting family memories, the kind that bring people together and make you want to return.
